Welcome to the March 2021 Newsletter. March was all about community here at Lilt. We launched a number of new initiatives that provide a platform for peers to share and collaborate within and beyond the localization space. Read on to learn more! • • • Global Experience Leaders Just last week, we announced the launch of a new Lilt original: the Global Experience Leaders series. This series explores the people leading the multilingual digital future - how they lead, innovate, and grow their careers. The series will share insights from the leaders behind the scenes building world-class global customer experiences and localization organizations. The series’ inaugural session featured a conversation between Spence Green, CEO of Lilt, and Karen Combe, long-time former VP of Localization at PTC. Translator Community Spotlight This month, we’re happy to introduce Theresa Waldhäusl, a professional translator in Lilt’s widespread translator network, and recent winner of the “Lilt Dedication” award at Lilt’s 2021 Translator Summit. We sat down with Theresa to learn more about her. Get to know Theresa in our Translator Spotlight here! Lilt Named Winner in 2021 Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards We’re excited to share that Lilt was named a winner in the Business Intelligence Group’s Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards program. The Group named Lilt a winner due to its use of “AI to improve the lives of their customers and employees”. Read more about the award in our press release here. Recent Webinar: How to Expand Your Global Customer Experience to Win in 2021 Joern Wuebker, Lilt’s Director of Research, joined TAUS to share tips on training data optimization and evaluation in the context of the Lilt story. Lilt Employee Spotlight: Jessi Smithson, Services Manager At Lilt, we’re passionate about helping localization leaders tackle big challenges and move the industry forward. Jessi, a Services Manager in our Indianapolis office, is a foundational member of the team that supports that passion. Jessi runs customer projects from start to finish, working with customers to make sure their projects stay aligned with their program and business goals and objectives. Recent Webinar: How to Expand Your Global Customer Experience to Win in 2021 Lilt’s EMEA team hosted a webinar about increasing growth and ROI in new markets of all types and sizes. Lilt Launches New Customer Advisory Board Lilt announced that it has launched a Customer Advisory Board, comprised of the industry’s most experienced and forward-thinking localization leaders. The CAB includes leaders representing new and long-time Lilt enterprise customers who have demonstrated a high level of engagement with advancing industry-wide innovation and localization best practices. The CAB represents Lilt’s latest initiative to encourage customers to steer the future ability of Lilt’s services and products to solve the world’s most pressing language problems. Jira Software Integration Lastly, we’re excited to share that we have recently developed a new Jira integration that makes integrating Lilt into your current systems and workflows easier than ever: a Jira Software Integration. The new integration allows customers to track Lilt project status, updates, and information right within their Jira instance.
